Beh-Raft-Chain: A Behavior-Based Fast Blockchain Protocol for Complex Networks

چکیده

By facilitating multiple independent owners to jointly control a distributed network, blockchain can be used solve the problem of device collaboration in complex networks (e.g., 5G, health care industries) through consensus mechanism. However, state-of-the-art blockchain-based solutions cannot meet demand high transaction rate for those applications, due unavoidable data synchronization cost decentralized systems. To address this issue, recent research splits nodes into groups as parallel shardings improve scalability at increased communication and storage per node. This paper proposes fast secure protocol reduce traffic complexity while enhancing rates capability fault-toleration. We introduce Proof-of-Behavior (PoB), behavior-based incentive mechanism, stimulating honest behavior neutralizing malicious attacks. design by integrating PoB with Raft, another classic supervision, called Beh-Raft-Chain. Our approach replaces Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) Behavior-based Raft lower O(n) boost fault-toleration from n/4 n/3, where n is scale blockchain. In our solution, we weigh all based on their money behaviors, then set an adjustment parameter increase probability candidate being chosen beyond only few highest weight, order incentivize comparative experiments confirm Beh-Raft-Chain's theoretical low properties.

A TESLA-based mutual authentication protocol for GSM networks

The widespread use of wireless cellular networks has made security an ever increasing concern. GSM is the most popular wireless cellular standard, but security is an issue. The most critical weakness in the GSM protocol is the use of one-way entity authentication, i.e., only the mobile station is authenticated by the network. This creates many security problems including vulnerability against m...

Evaluation of a BIBD Based Directional MAC Protocol for Wireless Ad Hoc Networks

The use of directional antennas in wireless ad hoc networks can significantly improve global performance due to a high spatial channel reuse. Nevertheless, its introduction poses new location dependent problems related to the MAC protocol. In this paper, the Balanced Incomplete Block Design theory has been exploited to develop a new MAC protocol for wireless ad hoc networks using directional ant...

HYREP: A Hybrid Low-Power Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

In this paper, a new hybrid routing protocol is presented for low power Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The new system uses an integrated piezoelectric energy harvester to increase the network lifetime. Power dissipation is one of the most important factors affecting lifetime of a WSN. An innovative cluster head selection technique using Cuckoo optimization algorithm has been used in the desig...

A Fast Approach to the Detection of All-Purpose Hubs in Complex Networks with Chemical Applications

A novel algorithm for the fast detection of hubs in chemical networks is presented. The algorithm identifies a set of nodes in the network as most significant, aimed to be the most effective points of distribution for fast, widespread coverage throughout the system. We show that our hubs have in general greater closeness centrality and betweenness centrality than vertices with maximal degree, w...

An E-voting Protocol Based on Blockchain

Because of the properties such as transparency, decentralization, irreversibility, nonrepudiation, etc., blockchain is not only a fundamental technology of great interest in its own right, but also has large potential when integrated into many other areas. In this paper, based on the blockchain technology, we propose a decentralized e-voting protocol, without the existence of a trusted third pa...
